Sri Lankan cricket legend Ranjan Madugalle has etched his name in the annals of cricket history by becoming the first match referee to officiate in 400 One Day Internationals (ODIs).
The milestone was achieved during the third ODI between India and Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Madugalle’s illustrious career spanning over three decades has seen him officiate in a record number of Test matches and T20Is as well.
