The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made the decision to shift the second Test match of the series against Bangladesh from Karachi to Rawalpindi.
The change in venue has been necessitated by ongoing construction work at the National Stadium in Karachi, which is being prepared to host the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025. To ensure the stadium is ready for the prestigious tournament, the PCB has deemed it necessary to relocate the second Test.
Initially, the PCB had considered playing the Karachi Test behind closed doors, but after careful consideration, it was decided to hold both matches in Rawalpindi.
The move will impact the preparation of both teams, as they will now have to adapt to the conditions of a single venue for the entire series.
How do you think this change will affect the dynamics of the series?
