BCCI Announces Revised Schedule For India’s Tour Of Sri Lanka 2024

Attention Indian cricket fans! The BCCI has tweaked the schedule for India’s upcoming white-ball tour of Sri Lanka. While the three T20Is and three ODIs remain, get ready for a slightly later start.

First T20I Now on July 27th

Originally planned for July 26th, the first T20I clash will now take place a day later on July 27th. This one-day shift applies to the subsequent T20Is as well.

Pallekele for T20 Blitzkrieg, Colombo for ODI Battles

The scenic Pallekele International Cricket Stadium will be the battleground for all three T20 matches. Once the dust settles from the T20 fireworks, the teams will move to the iconic R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo for the ODI leg of the tour.

A New Era Dawns: Gambhir Leads, Pandya Captains

Reports suggest senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah might miss this series. However, this creates an exciting opportunity! Get ready to witness the start of the Gautam Gambhir era as he takes the reins as India’s head coach. Young gun Hardik Pandya will be leading the team on the field as captain, adding a fresh dynamic to the squad.

Here’s the Revised Schedule:
