BCCI Mulls Over IPL-Style League for Retired Cricketers

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly considering launching an IPL-style tournament exclusively for retired cricketers.

Following the success of various legends leagues around the world, including the Road Safety World Series and the World Championship of Legends, several former Indian cricketers have approached BCCI Secretary Jay Shah with the proposal.

The concept has garnered positive feedback, with the BCCI open to exploring the possibility of launching such a league as early as next year. The tournament is expected to feature iconic players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Chris Gayle, and many more.

If materialized, the league could potentially rival existing legends leagues and offer fans an opportunity to witness their cricketing idols in action once again.
