Ian Bell Joins Sri Lanka Coaching Staff for England Tour

Former England batting stalwart Ian Bell has been appointed as the batting coach for the Sri Lankan cricket team for their upcoming Test series against England.

The move is aimed at leveraging Bell’s extensive experience of English conditions to bolster Sri Lanka’s batting lineup. Known for his elegant technique and consistency, Bell is expected to provide valuable insights to the Sri Lankan batters.

Bell will join the Sri Lankan squad on August 16 and will remain with the team until the conclusion of the three-match Test series.

Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva expressed confidence in Bell’s ability to contribute significantly to the team’s performance.

With the series set to be played in English conditions, Bell’s expertise is expected to be invaluable for the Sri Lankan batters as they look to challenge the hosts.
