The Format:

  • Simple Rules: Each team gets 100 balls to bat, and the team with the highest score wins.
  • Fast Bowling: Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls, bowled in sets of five or ten.
  • Strategic Powerplay: A 25-ball period in each innings where only two fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle.

The Schedule:

  • Group Stage (July 23rd – August 15th): Each team plays eight matches, facing six opponents once and their local rival twice.
  • The Eliminator (August 17th): The second and third-placed teams from the group stage battle it out at the Kia Oval.
  • The Final (August 18th): The winner of the Eliminator takes on the group stage topper for the coveted trophy.
